Hundreds of cyclists enjoyed beautiful weather as they took to the streets for the 2018 Bike the Cbus and Bike the CbusPLUS to tour Columbus neighborhoods and Franklin County. Our group of metric century riders left Grange Insurance Audubon Center under a beautiful sunrise over downtown Columbus. Our city riders departed an hour later with a warm-up through Scioto Audubon Metro Park as they headed out on a 28 mile meandering tour of numerous neighborhoods. Metric riders stopped at both REI locations for rest stops. The neighborhood route rest stops included Bottoms Up Coffee, OSU East, Paradise Garage, and the original Donato's Pizza on Thurman Ave. Riders on both rides enjoyed snacks from our nutrition sponsor Lucky's Market. As the riders returned to the Kenda Tires Finish Line Festival they were treated to food from Paddy Wagon, Broke Johnny's, Donato's Pizza, Graeter's Ice Cream and beer from Lineage Brewing. Over $1500 worth of locally sourced products were given away in our Finish Line Festival Raffle. Ben Ko Photography provided these beautiful photos.
